This chapter was about reaching diverse audiences and multicultures. There are many different groups to reach including age groups, such as the Youth(15-24) Baby boomers (born between 1946-1964) and Seniors(over the age of 65).

There are also the different cultures. To reach out to everyone you must first understand the different cultural values. There are five basic concepts when trying to do this, they are:

  1. Organizing a team with the understanding of the different cultures.
  2. Understanding that consumers respond best to messages that are culturally relevant.
  3. Remember that customers of different cultures are extremely loyal to a company once they start using it.
  4. Use the primary language of the audience.
  5. Use a spokes person to represent the audience.

There are many emerging groups like the gay and lesbian, catholic and evangelical, disability community, and women.
